SHORT TERM TEAMS

Joining a short term team is a great way to see the world, see how God is moving, and grow closer with your church community. Take a quick look at some of our short term global teams and if you are interested in going, fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

The focus of this trip is on caring for the families of A3 (formerly Asian Access), an agency dedicated to discipling pastors and planting churches across Asia. The purpose of our trip is to invest in the lives of the children of those serving with A3 by putting on a VBS. This will help the families shine for Christ throughout Japan.

We will be putting on a VBS, helping a church plant in Kiblawan, visit student homes, outreach to local children, engage with teen ministry, and fellowship with House of Hope orphanage.
Led by Dale and Jenni Wilborn

Students will putting on a VBS, helping a church plant Padada, participating in joint youth and young adult fellowship, working with a children’s outreach and feeing program, participating in a teen camp, and spending time with the children at of House of Hope orphanage.

Help Alaska Christian College get ready for the school year by doing needed projects, building, painting rooms, sewing, cutting wood, cleaning, and working on larger capital projects.

Put on a VBS for the children at Jesus School in Phnom Phen and the House of Refuge in Kampongcham. The VBS will include Bible stories, games, teaching English, crafts, and verse memorization. We will visit some of the children’s homes from the school, give them food baskets and encourage the local church.

Come along side and support the work of the Melanie Centers, which focus on orphans and vulnerable women, by putting on a VBS for the children and leading Bible studies and the basics of Christianity.

Provide a VBS for 200-250 kids. Spend time with the children living on the Bangladesh Youth for Christ campus. The team will be teaching, giving testimonies, crafts, drama, songs, and games.

Serve at Joy Brazil’s discipleship camp, engaging with young people by serving them, giving testimonies, fellowshipping, etc.

Share the love of Jesus with the children of Mexico by putting on a 3 day after school program for kids ages 5 -11 at Emmanuel church in Puerto Madero. We will also participate in youth events and care for those in need by providing food and clothing in Puerto Madero and surrounding communities.

Step 1: Let us know what team you are interested in learning more about by submitting an interest form below.
Step 2: After you have decided which team you would like to join, complete a short term team application.
Step 3:  You will be interviewed by the team leader and a Global Outreach Commission member. They will share expectations for participating in a short term team and answer any additional questions you may have.
